March 25 2006

Yea!! The Sun is back on our side of the Equator, so the beach weather is improving everyday. Next weekend we "Spring forward", so we will have an extra hour of sunlight every evening to enjoy.

The Charter Members of the 11 O'Clock Club met on Saturday at the Club meeting space to enjoy the perfect ocean view, and celebrate the return of the Sun with a slushie and "vodka-rish" type drink for the "ex" minute taker... :-) (Maybe that is why there has been a dearth of official minutes of late. :-)

After a perfectly relaxing meeting, the club members decided it was time for lunch, and the meeting was officially closed.

March 18 2006

The Club was in session today as it is the last Saturday before the arrival of the Sun on our side of the Equator.

The return of the Sun is a time to celebrate as it means the temperatures are rising, and soon the ocean will be warm enough for the Club Members to swim in again.

Paul and Larry (OGL) held a meeting on the beach, and enjoyed a perfect beach day. An official club video of the beach was taken, and is available upon request.

Paul noticed that the SeaGulls were on the beach, and this fact was noted as the resident SeaGull oberver, Bob, was not at todays club meeting due to a scheduling conflict.

The imminent return of the Sun was toasted with slushies, and after a quiet moment for relaxation and meditation, the meeting was adjourned, and the club will meet again next week under a returned SUN!

OGL and Paul held a short meeting of the club this morning.

The weather is getting much nicer, and the beach is full of tourists visiting South Florida to escape the cold up North.

The club members just relaxed with a slushy, and drank to absent friends (Bob), who was unable to join us for this meeting.

With the longer Days, and the Sun about to cross back into our side of the Equator, the Club meetings are going to get longer, and more interesting.

Watch this space!
