Post Hurricane Wilma

Larry (OGL), Paul and Bob met on Bobs balcony for the first 11 O'Clock Club meeting since the eye of Hurricane Wilma passed over the Clubhouse on the beach. All club members were still without electricity, but all was well with their homes, the club house and family and friends. The Clubhouse balcony, (at Bobs) was undamaged, and hot dogs and sliders will be available again once power is restored.

Bob was unable to join Larry and Paul as he had much to do as a post office was open, and items could be shipped.

Paul and Larry went on the the beach, noting Bobs absence.

The beach was in great shape after the storm, better shape than after Katrina.

Larry and Paul formally convened the club under sunny blue skies, and the first order of business was slushies for everyone!!!

The ocean was a cool 82F, so only a paddle to the knees was in order.

Very few people were on the beach today, and this was noted in the official minutes.

The meeting was shortened as the club members had more cleaning up to do at their homes.

Hurricane Wilma

Hurricane Wilma is approaching the Club Meeting Room. The Club Charter Members , at OGL's suggestion, took a break from Hurricane preparations, and headed to the beach to have a quick swim in the ocean.

Bob remarked that we had swum in Wilma waves, and this was duly noted in the club minutes.

Due to the short time of the club meeting, and lack of chairs due to hurricane preparations, no official photos were taken.

International Club Meet

Today Jenny and Derek, new International Club Members from Bromley, England joined the Charter members and Associate #1 at the Saturday meeting of the 11 O'Clock Club.

Larry, Our Glorious Leader, warmly welcomed our new members, and Bob presented them with their Official Associate Members badges.

Slushies were poured, and everyone joined in a toast to our newest Associate members.

Derek brought a British Flag with him, and planed this at the front of the Club House to signify the start of the next "British Invasion"!

The ocean was spectacular, and the members, with exception of barbara and Derek, had a great time body surfing and wave riding.

A short rain shower forced an adjournment to Bobs patio, where Barbara realized she was not wearing her shorts!

Larry, hopped the wall and feartlessly faced the rain and retrieved the missing shorts for Barbara.

After the rain, Bob provided Hebrew National Hotdogs for the members to enjoy on the grass by the beach.

Sunday Club will be in full force torrow!
